Ceremony
The ceremony will be a quiet moment shared only with immediate family.
The Hike from Carver’s GapWe’ll hike on the Appalachian Trail through meadows and spruce-fir woods onto a grassy bald. The hike is 2/3 mile long with about 350 feet of elevation gain, taking about 20 minutes. We recommend comfy footwear to hike in and a change of shoes for the ceremony.
The ceremonyOnce we reach the top of Round Bald, Marcie and Alex will exchange vows in a quiet ceremony officiated by Marcie’s brother, Pete.
family PhotosAfter the ceremony, the newlyweds will take photos with their family and spend a moment celebrating before heading back down the trail together.
